University of MichiganDavid Van Dijcke is a 5th-year PhD student in the Economics department at the University of Michigan, where he is a Rackham Predoctoral Fellow (2024-25). His research focuses on econometrics, with applications to policy evaluation and industrial organization. Before coming to Michigan, he studied economics and philosophy at KU Leuven in Belgium and at the University of Oxford. He is a visiting academic at the Bank of England and an honorary fellow of the Belgian American Educational Foundation.
